We have the ability to "break in" new steering box gears on a steering box dyno that cycles the steering box through its range over and over again until the gears are polished and the steering box will operate in the vehicle and return the steering to center position. |

![]() Oil dipstick. This is an example of how Competition Motors can improve the user-friendliness of a Bugatti. Originally the Type 35B did not have a dipstick. Over the years, many engines have been fitted with various oil level petcocks and plugs that are hard to use and prone to leakage. The addition of a dipstick disguised as a grease fitting simplifies the oil checking process and eliminates the guesswork. |

![]() Supercharger. Original bugatti three-lobe, rootes-type supercharger. Competition Motors will rebuild your supercharger to original or better than stock, using modern bearings, seals and coatings to improve wear and performance. |

![]() Supercharger drive. The supercharger is gear-driven from the front of the engine. CML will rebuild your drive using modern bearings and seals. If new gears are required or should you be looking for more performance, two different overdrive ratios are available as well as the original gears for the standard one-to-one drive ratio. Should you desire to upgrade a non-supercharged car, we can manufacture and install all the parts necessary to do so. |
